A Voyage to Utopian Beauty

Nature brings us wonders of beauty,  if we take time to examine it around us, we can clearly see how mesmerizing it is. The sunny gleams peeping in from trees, water gliding through waterway, the healthy green foliage, chirping of birds, fresh air and a lot more.

As I talk about nature, I can not stop thinking about the Northern areas of Pakistan. Which are a hub of raw beauty. The journey towards these areas is so appealing that one’s focus on destination channels from one view to another.
It is said that one should focus on the journey, not the destination. As joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it. And our destination was Naran. But as said earlier, the focus drifted away from Naran to Ayubia, then to Khanis Pur, and a lot more beautiful places on the way.

On the way to Naran, comes Ayubia, that is the most fascinating place. There’s a 4km track called Pipeline Track that is mesmerizing. I will share a few pictures.

It is so alluring,  right? You can walk there, breathing fresh air, relaxing your eyes with such greenery, and feeling the breeze flowing. Just like a paradise on the earth. We covered about 1km and then came back as there was danger of “Tendwa” after it gets dark.

Then we continued our cruise down to Khanis Pur and unpacked our bags there. Over next few days we stayed there and explored that place which is worth sharing with you guys.

Road Down to Waterfall

The road to that waterfall was interesting, as we were directed by the two cute little kids to go down the road for about 10 to 15 minutes and again by a sweet “Khatoon” to go down for about 10 to 15 minutes, which went on and on for about 1.5 hours and then finally we reached at the one and only waterfall of Khanis Pur. No doubt it’s water was so light, cold and fresh,  as it is said “Sabar ka phal meetha hota hy!”  So, our patience finally got fruitified. Lol!

The One and Only Waterfall in Khanis Pur, Ayubia

After 3 days we continued our journey to Naran, where, there comes a lot of cascades and panoramas in the way that freshens up your mood.

After all these wonders of beauty we reached at Naran, where there are lakes like Lake Saif-ul-Malook, Ansu Lake, and Lake Lulus.  We only visited Lake Lulusar. There is also a river; River Kunhar, that catches eye of many tourists.

The journey ended with Babusar Top where you can smell, taste and hear the magic of nature. I would say it is the most peaceful place.
